Jolie Paint
Jolie is a New Orleans-based brand specializing in high-quality decorative paints and finishes. I joined the Jolie team shortly after their launch in 2019 as a Marketing Manager and was promoted to Marketing Director in 2020. During my time at Jolie, I have helped establish the brand as a trusted source for those looking to transform their homes. My role involves a blend of strategy and execution across content creation, product development, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
Brand Strategy & Content Production
Over the years, I have developed a comprehensive collection of visual and written brand assets for use across Jolie's marketing channels. I leverage analytics and customer feedback to identify content opportunities, oversee photoshoot planning and execution, craft brand copy, and ensure all content is on-brand and optimized for distribution. I also implemented a system for collecting, organizing, and distributing user-generated content, resulting in thousands of customer paint projects and testimonials that are now integral to our marketing efforts.
Product Development & Point of Sale
I play a key role in the development of new product categories, working directly with the CEO on product positioning, packaging, visual assets, sales tools, educational resources, and e-commerce listings. I am responsible for developing comprehensive launch plans and ensuring all necessary tools and processes are in place for seamless product roll-outs. Recent projects include the launch of Jolie's Wall & Trim Collection, the Caitlin Wilson color collection, and the expansion of Jolie's product offerings in size and color.
Digital Marketing
I oversee all of Jolie's digital marketing initiatives, including advertising, email, blog, social media, SEO, and media/influencer relations. While some channels are managed in-house, others are supported by agency partners. My role includes strategizing with the CEO to set ROI goals and benchmarks, then working independently or with agencies to develop content, monitor performance, and make continuous improvements. Our efforts have led to significant improvements in profitability, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
Web Design & E-Commerce
I ensure Jolie's e-commerce channels are continuously updated and optimized. By using analytics, customer feedback, and A/B testing, I identify and develop opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth. I am responsible for building and maintaining product listings and landing pages, monitoring inventory and sales trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
